Why Would My Car Accident Lawyer Call Me Into His Office? |

okay me and my boyfriend were in a car accident almost three years ago. my boyfriend has recently received two letters stating that they lawyer we have can no longer imitate him. this was about three days ago. i received a phone call today asking me to come into his office 2morrow. what could this be about?
 It could be for any billion of reasons:
-if you owe any payments, the lawyer may be requesting them. Or, by contrast, if the lawyer overlooked an aspect of your case when he took it (eg. disagree of interest), they may actually refund the retainer fees you paid
-he could be re-instating your case if new details have emerged
-he could have other data or releases he needs you to see/review/sign
What I'd suggest is to call the lawyer's office to see if you can find out exactly why you are asked to turn to if the lawyer is no longer representing you; for all we know, the call may have just been erroneous.

this guy passed away and i dont remember how to get compensated for this accident. is there lawyers that handle this sort of cases or should i just let workers comp. call the shots?
You even-handed said "this guy" passed away. Who is he to you? Is he your husband, father, fellow-man or just a friend? The answer to that question may be the determining factor in whether attorneys are captivating your case.

Do I Need A Lawyer For Car Accident Injury? |

I had a car accident involving 4 cars including mine. All other cars' airbags went off while mine didn't. And my car has the most harm!
Since the airbag didn't work and my seat belt didn't lock, I was almost thrown to the rider seat...and ended up in emergency care.
My friends told me that I need to talk to a lawyer for the airbag and residence belt problem with my car. Should I find a lawyer for this matter?
1st off, like the other surrebutter said, who is at fault for this accident?
If you are at fault, then your insurance company will be liable to the other 3 cars damages/injuries.
i am unavoidable others will tell you that depending on the vehicle, make, year etc is reason for your airbag and capacity for belt problems. if there is a problem with your seatbelt/airbag, need to consult maker to see if any recalls. a friend of mine who was a claim adjuster hit a tree and the seat did not lock and could not get answers.
lawyers infrequently===rarely handle any airbag/seat belt issues; if they do, they will most likely precept you per hour to research.
if even you hire an attorney for your injuries, they will most likely tell you to scrutinization or pursue yourself.
also; if;;;;;;you are at fault for this 4 car accident, no attorney will handle, since they cant collect for your liability. if you went to the ER and no further treatment, no paucity for a lawyer.
let your insurance company handle. if you are not at fault and only had ER treatment, then the other company will offer an outrage settlement. if you get a lawyer, they will settle with the lawyer, but might take at least 6 months to settle. and believe it or not, most likely you will receive less due to the 1/3 the lawyer takes.
ie; ins co offers $500; to you
ins co offers $600 to lawyer; which means you gent $400, lawyer gets $200;

Should I Hire A Lawyer For My Car Accident Court Appearance? |

I was in a car accident recently. It was my censure and I would like to plead guilty, pay the fine, and move on. The other person's car was damaged and she says she also flat her finger. Would I have anything to gain from hiring a lawyer to go to court with me? Also, am I foolish to plead guilty?
You should reach a local lawyer for a consultation. I would say to always use a lawyer when going to court.

My Husband Was In A Car Accident, The Lawyer Said That We Are In The Arbitration Phase. What Does This Mean? |

We have waited 18 months now, no proffer or settlement has been made by one of the responsible parties.
Arbitration is a means/break to attempt to settle your case out of court. Each side involved in the case presents their Donnybrook/arguments, evidence, etc. to a mutually choosen or assigned arbitrator, (impartial social gathering.) The case is argued until a decision/settlement is reached, (all parties agree,) or until it is pronounced a settlement cannot be reached.

How To Get More Money From A Car Accident With Out A Lawyer? |

I had a car accident and a split my wrist. has been 3 month and they had to give me treatment and shots and it still hurst. the other party insurance only offered $8,000.00 for injury i heard they give more. how can i debate that with out a lawyer?
Hiya:
Having handled wound claims for years...the one thing I can tell you is that attorneys are really nothing more than a middle man.
You can round for yourself and here are some things to help you out.
First - ideally you should not be trying to settle UNLESS you are DONE treating!
Now that that's out of the way:
Recall how much your bills are.
Keep track of ALL of your mileage (to and from doctor, physical therapy...to go get medications refilled...EVERYthing)
If your doctor hasn't done so - ask for an imperfection rating when you are DONE treating(some doctors may not do this) - This will be an indicator of what - if any - permanency you may have. If you have any permanency - your assert is worth more.
Keep track of all of your time off of work for appointments, etc.
Now....
If they've offered $8000...without conspiratorial more I'd say one of two things:
1 - your bills are included in that $8000 which means they are likely under $4000 or
2 - your bills are not included - in which state the real offer is $8000 plus your bills (Unless you assigned a lein)
Does it classify your mileage, medications, time off of work?
Can't really say without knowing more so it's hard to say if it is a even-handed offer.
So, gets your ducks together, educate yourself and call the adjuster back with an outline to SUPPORT what you Assume you should get paid. But - keep in mind - just because you want a million dollars...doesn't squalid you're going to get it.

Girlfriend Was In A Car Accident, Lawyer Question? |

My gf was in a car accident few days ago .
The car bumper was hit by a guy who was driving without a sanction.
It wasn't too bad. But the bumper must be replaced and the insurance company should pay for the medical bills .
My interview is this. I have "never" been in such a situation before , there fore I have some questions... because she doesn't seem to recognize what to do either . She made some mistakes. She already contacted a lawyer , which she thought was the right move.
But i don't think it was needed because this just happened a few days ago ,Aren't lawyers needed when things get out of tender or when - they refuse to pay?
In regards to payment.
2 questions -
1) How should I approach the other company (All State ) in regards to payment.
The car was insured under some other man. Isn't the guy who drove the car while the accident occured still responsible to pay her? ( i am worried , if allstate is making her run around and for good say - oh, we are not responsible !, the guy who drove doesn't have all states, SORRY! )Another thing - They were forcing her to go to their own seek to get an estimate for bumper repair, does she "have to"? She wants "honda" to fix it and therefore go there to get an appraise, which i think she did. How much of this does she have to comply with AllState.?
2)
In regards to medical bill , how does this industry ? Isn't the doctors bills, any medication , and physical therapy all covered by the other person? If so what if it's an evolving procedure like, a physical therapy session for 8 months . What is the procedure for this ? Should she ethical fax all the bills to All State or wait till everything's over and then fax everything- Estimate ( for bumper) and Doctors bill to them?
p.s: The lawyer told her to go to that doctor, I be familiar with how cunning these lawyers are . I want this to be done without any lawyer present as smooth as it's possible. I am just agonized if she's going to get into any kind of trap. Please help.
Dealership facing complaints hopes for license renewal

A neighbourhood used car dealership that the attorney general's office says has had 12 complaints filed against it in the last year will in time have to make its case in front of selectmen in order to renew its dealership license. Griffin Powers, possessor of E&G Auto, at 161 Mechanic St., is scheduled to meet with selectmen today to refurbish his used car dealer license. Powers has had numerous complaints lodged against him from customers and residents who are low-spirited with the business. One of those complaints has now turned into a pending court case. "Because this man has had so many complaints and so many violations, we're bringing him in," said selectmen Chairwoman Beginning Davies. "We want to find out what's going on." Davies said Euphemistic pre-owned car businesses, like E&G Auto, hold Class II licenses that must be renewed once a year, most with a Dec. 31 deadline. However, because there have been several complaints filed against the subject, the board has decided to meet with the owner before granting a renewal.
