I Was In A Car Accident, I Had Filed With A Lawyer But...?

i had filed with a lawyer, but that was years ago and evidently the person that hit me was uninsured. Can this person get away with it totally? He doesn't seem to have any assets or spondulix and does not seem to be getting anything any time soon.

Answer: Getting a lawyer for the suitcase does nothing. You have to actually file a suit against that person in court within the state's statute of limitations.

Even if you go to court and win, you can't get anything from them if they do not have

Answer: Assuming the accident happened in KY, a CT lawyer can't report you unless he also happens to be licensed in KY.
