Putting In A Claim In With Asurion Phone Insurance.?

My G1 Android from T-Transportable screen just got a big crack in it. I was wondering if I could put in a claim for it.. Should I say it's damaged? I mean it still works alright. Or should I a moment ago put it in that I lost it?.. Reason why I'm asking is, that I think they may want me to send them the "On the fritz" device in... Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

If you have the insurance claim it as damaged. They will have you send the functioning phone to them. If you claim it as lost, they will ask you the last time you used it. Then they will run the IMEI of the phone. If they see that either you or someone that you have been in contact with has acclimatized it after the date you told them, they will deny the claim.

Can I File An Insurance Claim On My Phone?

A comrade of mine is on my t mobile account and she added insurance on her phone. Well today is the 20th day shes had service and already misplaced her phone. I have to call Asurion and account the claim and Im wondering if there is a time frame you have to be with them before being able to report a claim. Does anyone know if claims can be made now?

There isn't a waiting while, but you do have to file the claim within 30 days of the phone being reported lost and you are allowed 2 claims a year.

Not Sure If I Officially Filed Insurance Claim?

ok well i wanted to see if i had a cubic claim on my Asurion phone insurance, and i put all my info in to start a claim, and it gave me this fraud warning and it gave me my claim few and now im freaking out that i actually like officially filed a claim and i am 14 and didn't ask my parents about it, and i familiar my dads name..... ya freaking out.... did i file this and am i going to get in a lot of trouble if i don't go through with filing it?

You cannot legally come in into a contract of any kind until you are 18 years old. Tell your father what you did and have him contact them and expound.

This can all go away if you are honest about it.

I was filing a claim with Asurion and as contrasted with of selecting the blackberry world, I selected tour and now the claim process will not let me go back and edit the claim on my chamber phone. Should I just let the claim process and recieve the tour instead?

they might statement that as insurance fraud and you will not get any phone. i would contact them asap!

Had an orange enV. rid of charging.. past one year warranty so I was gonna file an insurance claim on it through Asurion. Verizon take off making enV about 4 months ago.. so would I be more likely to get another enV.. or the enV2?

Something is awful with my cell phone. I have AT&T and have had the phone for more than 1year so the warranty is out. I'd like a newer, more fresh phone anway, so does anyone know if I should file a claim through the Asurion people, or jsut communication the phone lost/stolen?

I departed my phone and filled out all the paper work for Asurion and mailed it to the Kansas address. How large will it take to get it?

It should be a week or less after they get the papers.
