I've never submitted a car insurance claim before. I necessity to know if I submit one for hail damage, will my monthly payment rise? The cost is estimated to be around $2500.
 No it should not go up because volley damage is covered under comprehensive . comprehensive claims are not surcharged. You weren't gravely thinking of paying out $2500.00 of your own money just to avoid a small surcharge, were you ? Ever listen to of being "penny wise and pound foolish" ? Always use your insurance. If you don't/won't use it, why even have it ?

How Much Time Is Given For Car Insurance Company To Settle A Claim? |

my car was hit in parking lot and insurance is dragging its feet to probe. how much time is officially allowed for this investigation and what are my rights bacause it has been 30 days today. i have a full insurance on this car and insurance band is investigating as a fraud claim!. insurance from metlife!
Claims being investigated for deceit are under different guidelines than claims that are not being investigated for fraud. and when a claim has been brought into the SIU department that info isn't shared with the themselves being investigated. But when they are brought into SIU, it's for a darn good reason, whether you're committing fraud or not. By law the insurance has to consider suspicious claims, whether or not it actually is.
As for what 'cece' recommends, contacting the state...you can do that, that's your election. But once they are aware your claim is being investigated for fraud--you're done.

Whats The Average Time It Take To A Car Insurance Claim To Go Through? |

We had a claim last November. It took two weeks for them to commit oneself to they were going to total the car. It took another two weeks for them to cut a check, and another month before everything was clear and I could do in that car from the policy. We did receive credit for the time I paid on the policy with that car still on it, but it was a little annoying that it took so elongated to get everything settled.

Can You Make A Seperate Car Insurance Claim After The Event? |

A few months ago, someone ran into the back of our car while it was staionary.
Yesterday, our car, with Handbrake on, rolled off our urgency and into a neighbours car, causing £100 ish of damage.
I suspect the earlier bump may have damaged/beat the handbrake pad (car forward ahil stationary). Could we claim the £100 back as part of the first insurance claim?
Not if the first claim was settled. If you settled, the amount you received was a full and finishing settlement for all damage caused to your car, and should have been used to complete all repairs.

How Do I Make An Car Insurance Claim For Scratches Through Car Owners? |

I bought a acclimatized car a few months ago that had a near flawless finish. Over the past few months it's been scratched several times by my nephew on his bike. We've talked and now I needfulness to file a claim with my insurance. The marks are everywhere, back of the trunk, right rear quarter panel, hood, left-wing rear quarter panel.

Does anyone be versed, or can anyone tell me where to find info on how long one has to make a car insurance claim?
i've been in the government of AB website and the Alberta Insurance Valuation board but i can't seem to find the info.
Alberta is in Canada
If I am not wide of the mark, it is 2 years, the same as Manitoba, but the problem with waiting is accounting for any damage that occurs after the opening accident, not to mention remembering correct dates and details if the claim did not involve a control report, such as a hail claim.

I was recently back-ended in my car. There were no injuries to either party, just a little paint chipped, my bumper pushed in diet, and my trunk lid sprung. How should i go about geting appraisals performed? Should i get my appraisals from higher end corpse shops to ensure a larger check? this is my first insurance claim and i have no idea how this stuff works!! Please support!
first of all, it doesn't situation who's fault it is you should still try to get the most from your claim. so you should research ( what your doing now) inspect (even a non mechanical mind can notice alter) if you see something that doesent look right, it's not right! and most importantly remember after it's all said and done you will still be progressive with a previously wrecked car which is more likly to have issues down the road therefore it is your right to come out winning on your claim....now how i approach this is i tell my body man that i want only factory parts on this car because that what it came out with, then i disbosom oneself them i do not want damaged parts such as sheet metal (repaired) but removed and replaced. that will run up the approximate real fast especially if it requires welding in a new trunk panel. the insurance guests will send out an adjuster to make their crappy lowball estimate . next step is the bargaining...you have the ball in your court on this one, you tell the insurance company you wont accept their offer and that they requirement to provide you with a rental car as yours is inoperable (which by law they have to pay for) then you drive their car and play the waiting game, most insurance have to pay out within no more than 30 days, after you get paid you can have your car prearranged with the cheaper parts, and take the leftover cash and go on vacation to forget about this stressful exposure.

A car wrongfully hit mine in a parking lot. At the time, I didn't have insurance so that automatically makes it my overly? Well, this happened in August of 2006 and their insurance company is trying to call me to get paid. What is the statute of limitations on this? Also they have my name spelled false, so can they really find me?
if the other persons insurance companions is trying to find you to get you to pay their damages, it sound sto me like YOU were found to be at fault. if their insured was at fault, they wouldn't be coming after you for payment.

So in February 2009 a maiden reversed into my car, I have paid £500 for the damages myself as it takes to long for the third party's insurers to renovation the damages, and now I have legal aid from my insurance company and they are chasing the third party insurers for my money back. The third celebration hasn't admitted liability, but I have a witness just not an independant one.
It seems to be taking a extended time for any kind of update from the third party insurers, and my insurance company doesn't seem that interested in chasing them up unless I ask them to.
How can I get my come what may settled more quicker?
Anyone know about the processes of these claims and how long ti can take?
