Can You Claim Medical Insurance Premiums If There Deducted Before Your Taxed On Your Pay?

I may have made a goof-up on my taxes.

Answer: No! You already got a 100% decrease for them by paying them with pre-tax dollars. If you claimed them on your return, it's time to file an amended restore on Form 1040X and pay the extra taxes and interest due. It probably won't be a lot if you get the amended return in shortly, but it's adding up a little bit each day that you delay.

What Are The Financial Risks For Starting A Medical Insurance Claim Company? Is It A Good Idea?

Will doctors be interested to pay my Theatre troupe to process their insurance companiy bills, so they will get paid more quickly?

Answer: Are you an whiz in medical claims processing?

You understand the process? Have the programs to do this? Know someone you can hire that has this scholarship? You want to make collection calls? You want to negotiate with insurance companies? You are exceptionally detail oriented, keep extremely accurate records, and can find those records in a moments notice?

Yes, Doctors use that font of service, and are happy to pay a percentage of the billings for that kind of service.

If you're in the USA, you'll have to abide by all the HIPAA Regulations.

I have a customer who has over 50 employees, that is in this business, and is very successful. But he is extremely knowledgeable, he has key employees who take all the ins and outs of the insurance claims processes, he has invested heavily in technology through the years.

It can be a serious business, but you need to have the ability to really take this over completely for the Doctor's. You will be their EXPERT.

My Medical Insurance Incorrectly Processed A Claim And Now The Hospital Wants More Money...who Should Pay?

My son was born in initially 2007. I paid my part of the medical claim in Jan. '08. The claim was reprocessed in July '08 and now my insurance says I owe the nursing home an additional $400 even though insurance admits it was them who processed it incorrectly the first time. Do I have any recourse here with either the nursing home or my insurance?

Answer: Ugh. That stinks. The feeling of it is, though, that you owe the money. If they had processed it correctly the first time you would have had to pay it then. Instead you got an 18 month respite. What they've done, really, is give you an interest-free loan for $400!

Still, it's not fun to have to pay more when you thought you were done. Try giving the hospital a call and asking if they'll forsake the extra money, or settle for a lower amount. They should accept a payment schedule if you can't pay it all at once. I have one girlfriend who pays $5 a month!

Also, you may want to go back and check all of the hospital bills to brand sure you weren't overcharged somewhere. That could offset what you underpaid. And my insurance company had a program that paid me 50% of the assert for every error I found on the hospital bill. I made over $1000 from the several errors in mine! Not every company has such a program, and the front-line navy people didn't know about it, but I worked for the company so I knew about it. :)

Best of fortuity, and enjoy your son!

Can You Claim A Medical Insurance Claim On Yout Income Tax?

These claims will be medication, dental and eye glasses.

Answer: Hello,

If I'm truce you correctly, you've submitted prescription, dental and eye glasses charges to a benefit diagram and presumably been reimbursed for some or all of the costs.

As such, the only amount that you can claim on your tax return is any amount that was not reimbursed by the insurance. For exxample, if your plan covers 80% of prescriptions and you paid the other 20%, then you can claim the 20%.

Also, if you pay any of the medical insurance premiums those can be claimed as a medical expense.

Cheers!
