As A Claims Assistant For A Commercial Liabilty Insurance Company, What Training Will Help Me To Advance? |
Feb 05, 2008 by castillb2007 | Posted in Insurance
I profession for a Insurance Company here in Los Angeles. It's a Commercial Liability Insurance Company. I dont do any handling of claim, but I am a Claims Adjuster Buddy. I review court documents to identify facts and the nature of the accident that took diggings. Send out acknowledgement letter, as well as closing notices. What certification would I want to start off with being new to the insurance toil? What courses would I start off with?
http://www.aicpcu.org/
Go to this web situate.
They offer lots of different programs in insurance.
You may want to start out with an easy one like INS. It's 3 courses and its not broke at all. It is good introductory information.
In claims, you usually start with INS and then move onto AIC (Associate in Claims).
If you are unsound to eventually be an adjuster - these are the two to start out with.

Can An ABN Be Used For Non-Medicare Patients With Commercial Insurance If The Claim Will Be Denied? |
Aug 07, 2009 by Mark Scott G | Posted in Insurance
I run a diagnostic radiology skill that performs PET scans. Some oncologic diagnoses are denied for PET scans. If we know in development that a patient's scan will likely be denied, can we use an ABN? Many of the patients' EOBs come back stating that the lenient should be held harmless because the test was 'not medically necessary'. If these patients are counseled in push and sign a form, does that overrule the EOB's statement?
certain, you can use one. or make a notice along the same lines. are you calling the insurance company before doing the test to see if it is covered? that would be an easier way around it all.

You Work In A Physician Office And Have Just Submitted Several Claims To A Commercial Insurance Company Your? |
Mar 04, 2007 by MATILDA L | Posted in Insurance
your role will probably be reimbused based on a?
a) prospective payment system
b) resource based related value scale
c) traditional fee for service system
d) resource utilization group outcome
C is most in order...
B can also be correct in some circumstances... But not usually for group/commercial insurance. RBRVS is not as widely toughened now as it one was... The fee for service schedule may be based on RBRVS.
And... If you're taking a try out that asks this question... Its most certainly in a book you have in your possession...

Is Commercial Auto Insurance Necessary For Self-employed Company Car? |
Sep 24, 2007 by John K | Posted in Insurance & Registration
Auto insurance retinue claims I need a different policy even though I would still be the only driver for the vehicle. The cost would be 50%+ than the general price.
I perform consulting services and need a car to drive to their offices. I do not double-cross our haul products, this is solely used for commuting purposes.
Well see this is how it works. Since you are the only ourselves to drive the car, if you were to hurt anyone with out the insurance thy can sue then the company.
I having a company ( my company) truck to insist upon house calls hav it just incase it happons. The person injured can sue the insurance players and you and your company to. Take my advice get it.

A. prospective payment system
B. resource-based relative value prorate increase
C. traditional fee-for-service system
D. resource utilization group decision
Resource based subject to value scale is the most popular however; there are still some traditional fee-for-service arranagements still out there.
The most common RVS is using the HIAA hierarchy. Most companies are currently paying at the 80th percentile.

If An Insurance Co. Paid A Claim On My Policy For A Commercial Building...do I Still Have Coverage? My Ins. Co |
May 10, 2007 by mikey | Posted in Insurance
......paid the extreme limit on my policy...However, something else happen to my building 5 months later...will they still pay on the damages?
Yes the ins. paid the crest loss amount. So, do I still have ins. if the maximum amount was paid? Or do I have to buy from another ins. co. if my insurance paid the maximum amount?...because it is not insured anymore.
It was a whole fire damaged to one side of the building. However, the new damaged was on the other side of the building.....canopy collapse. No ...repairs did not start yet...had to linger for city permits.......it was about to start.
Yes,
Resources insurance policies provide coverage on an occurrence basis. So if you have $250K property of capital goods coverage and have two claims in the same year, both claims would be covered up to the $250K as long as you have paid your lure.

Mar 18, 2007 by livewire | Posted in Insurance
I recently purchased a 4th accommodate but my home insurance denies further coverage and tells me that I can only insure up to 4 houses and must switch to commercial insurance. Is this natural proceedure? Is there any commercial insurance companies that are good and you recommend? Are they as good as the non commercial when you have a claim? Thanks;
Allstate will white b derogate up to 15 landlord policies per policyholder, b4 switching to commercial.
Any type of commercial insurance is expensive, I'd shun it if possible.

Title Insurance Claim? |
May 17, 2007 by tanya7763 | Posted in Renting & Real Estate
Bought a commercial intermission 2 years ago.Last month had the planning dept. coming and said that this is residential zoned with all the docs supporting it. It was never recorded commercial in the county system...The whilom owner was using it a store without the county knowing...She put an illegal door to acquire it official and now the count made me take it out. Now I only have access to my store for about 9 hours a day...the rest I am not allowed since I have to go through hot stuff else's unit to get there. The title insurance company wrote it down as a commercial on the preliminary title report, even though it was never allowed and now I have no access to it. Do you suppose I have a claim? According to the county I cannot resale as a commercial..
I didn't know it was zoned residential. Escrow performers and title company took the previous owner's word for it and gave it to me. It was introduced to me as a commercial with a bussinss ceaseless at the time. Escrow and title company didn't research
The construction was purchased to be used as a commercial building. A commercial title policy guarantees that it can be used for the intended expressly under existing law. Just as a residential policy guarantees that there are no laws against occupying the premises for the residential purposes. The zoning should have been disclosed in the nickname report and, if it was not, you have a title claim. Unfortunately, who reads the title report. If you do not have a title claim, I would devote a claim against the title company as closing agent. Under there E&O insurance, they closed on a property knowing (solid or constructive knowledege) that you intended to use it illegally.
I would absolutely consult a competent trustworthy estate attorney on this one.

Jul 25, 2009 by Fred D | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I've got a unite of years worth of No Claims Bonus with my last policy which was for a commercial vehicle, i.e; a small van. But I've now bought an industrial car and I can't believe how much higher my insurance is going to be if my NCB can't be taken into account.
Is it possible to carry a NCB over from commercial to not for publication? The driver's the same, after all.
Cheers in advance.
No it will not be conceivable to transfer your NCB as they are two different insurance types. Try comparing quotes with theycompare.co.uk, confused.com etc
