Can I File An Insurance Claim?

I had a new patio take over installed on my screen room. It has leaked four times already (with every rain). The friends has been out three times already to attempt to repair it with no avail. It is leaking bad. It floods the floor of my abide and I have lost some stuff that I had to throw out from getting wet. Also, the compnay split my fascia upon installing and put caulking all over my disgrace new roof. Since, they can't fix it, I did not know if I should call my insurance company to file a claim because I obviously need a new cover. I just paid $4800 for this one a hardly any under three months ago. I have photos and was planning on sending a certified letter to the company clamorous they fix it this time or I will contact the BBB and take legal action. I am just worried that this will make them mad and they won't check in out to fix it.

If your insurance covers moisten damage..... then you can file... I think I would go after the company that installed it.. They are the ones at responsibility you know

Was in the grocery assemble working til late. Came out and someone left there name and all insuance info. They hit the side of my vehicle pulling into a parking organize. Had to go out of town next day to work and just got back. It has been 11 weeks. Can I still file a claim on her insurance? I live in Texas.

Yes, you can still file the claim. Truly, it will take less than 15 minutes. Just call the insurance company and explain the delay.

Can I File An Insurance Claim On My Renters Insurance Policy For A Loss That Happend 2 Years Ago?

I had a boosting that is covered under my renters insurance policy, but it was almost two years ago and want to know if I can still file that claim?

You're present to have a really hard time getting that paid.

If you filed a police description at the time, you sure can try to file the claim. If you didn't file the police report, then there was no theft, legally, and the insurance won't pay.

If Property Is Behind On Payments, Has Been Vandelized, Can Lender File Insurance Claim And Collect Check?

Investment possessions purchased for rehabbed. During rehab, mortgage was not being paid and insurance lapse. Lender purchased insurance. Oddity was vandelized, lender filed claim and recieved check. What happens to the check? How is it applied? What will it be habituated to for?

The lender has to screen their investment, which is their loan. The collateral (the building) also needs to be protected. Your loan documents states what your responsibilities are, above all as it relates to how the property is maintained and repayment of the loan. When you get the loan, you also agree to persist in insurance on the property; the lender has the right (and obligation to their investor) to place insurance on the property should yours lowering.

The check for damages goes to them; if the mortgage has not been paid, and you are in default--well, your lender did what they were alleged to to protect their investment. In the event the property goes to foreclosure, they're stuck with a vandalized construction that they have to sell to recover their loan and expenses.

The check goes to them; as with any other insurance check, it will go toward making repairs to the paraphernalia that resulted from the vandalizing. But, to be sure, you can contact the insurance agency that has the policy or make a written call for for information from your lender.

A guy ran a red obscure and struck my car causing $3500 in damages. I got all the required info from him so how do I file a claim with his insurance?

I called my insurance but they said they will not file a claim for me with the other insurance. I have full coverage but with $1,000 deductible so I be deficient in his insurance to fix the damages.

You should be gifted to look the other driver's insurance company up on the web, call them and give them the collision info and the policy number and driver's name.

Don't let them yank you around -- they will probably try to drag things out in the hopes that you will accept less than what is owed you. Confederate to your guns, they are LIABLE and RESPONSIBLE for fixing your car to YOUR satisfaction and covering any and all medical bills and other bills (rental car, etc.) that you have had to pay as a end result.

I was at pick on in an accident involving two other vehicles while driving my friend's parent's car. I do not wish to degrade the vehicle's registered owner's squeaky clean insurance rate, so I am considering paying out of lift for all of the damages, even though the insurance would cover me. I am not from the United States and am not sure how it works here, but would I be able to pay out of swipe for the damages (under $5000) instead of file a claim? How would I go about doing this in a legal, spotless fashion?

i was the driver mixed up with in an accident due to a road hazard, got a flate dire and damaged my car. my liscense is suspended, I have insurance. Can i file a claim?

If your certify was suspended AFTER your accident then the insurance company will cover you in that accident.

If you had a suspended license WHEN you had your extra there's a good possibility that the insurance company won't cover you. Most insurance companies require you to have a valid approve to be insured with that company.

Can Mortgage Company File An Insurance Claim On 3 Year Old Foreclosed Home That Was Included In Bankruptcy?

I filed CH 7 Bankruptcy 3 years ago and the mortgage society foreclosed on the property. MY insurance company just called and said the mortgage cast called them and filed a claim on the house for roof damage and if they paid it there is a $2000.00 deductible I will have to pay. Is this redress? I have not lived in the home for 3 years!

I'm not an masterful in Bankruptcy and foreclosure procedures but this doesn't smell right. If the damage to the roof occurred during the period that your insurance was in force, why are they only now contacting you? To my knowledge, all HO insurance coverage is based on the date of the occurrence or harm. That means that whichever insurance company was insuring the home at the time the loss occurred, is answerable to handle and pay the claim. It is hard to believe that a loss over 3 years old would just now be discovered and filed.

My insurance institution United Behavorior Health has denied my claim first because I wasn't covered ... When I proved it was covered they hanker after to say it has not been filed in a timely manner It has been a year now? I live in NC. I will to persue this in a legal amount if nessessary as the clain is over 10K

Many policies say the claim has to be turned in during the annals year it occurred and then several weeks or a couple of months into the next year.

You need to keep pursuing it and in all likelihood get an attorney. You have to keep on top of it every day bothering them.
