Florida Is A No Fault State. After Both Insurance Companies Tenure Up All Claim Money Available What's Left?

We have no shortcoming insurance in Florida and I was involved in an accident where some one ran into the back of my car resulting in injury. My insurance company paid its part and their insurance company has offered to pay its part, but it is not enough. I have hired a member of the bar but even with what he is able to get it is not enough. All I am trying to get is reimbursement for medical costs and lost time costs. I am an unbiased contractor and have no recourse for workman's comp.

If you have already gotten a King's counsel then you have nothing else you can do. Good Luck.

Nationwide Auto Insurance Won't Pay Claim In Florida.?

I was Byzantine in an accident yesterday. Nationwide insurance is saying they never received my payment, even though I have receipts. Their emplacement is that they will not settle my claim. What agency can I go to in order to make them honor the policy?

You trouble to contact the Insurance Commissioner in the State in which you live, or the state in which you took out your policy. Nationwide is within its rights if it has no report of the policy.

There are (sometimes frequent) cases of insurance agents who collect premiums for the company, and then never out of date it on. I hope that is not the case because then you are in for quite a ride.

Every state agency that oversees insurance (it's called something a little different in every state) has an 800 number in the phone book. Or, there should be a general advice number for state agencies.

Good luck.

Can A Person In Florida Sue You Besides Car Insurance Like Put A Claim On Your Home?

Yes, in some circumstances.

Although Florida is a "no pick at" state, it's not PURE no fault, and once the threshhold is reached, they can sue you. And the no fault doesn't be relevant to property damage - the damage to their car.

Plus, even if they collect under their own policy, their insurance will still come after you for reimbursement.

Non-Standard irregardless the home, it depends on if it's homesteaded or not.

Auto Insurance Question.Ive Never Filed A Claim B4.I Live In North Florida.Im Over Age 25.I Had An Accident.?

No other vehicles were enmeshed with.It was raining and when i was driving home i hyrdoplaned and did a 360 spin and hit the back of my car on a curb.Should i folder a claim or just fix it without filing a claim? Im afraid if i file a claim my rates will go up and i would be losing more money in the big run.I dont know what to do.

It depends on how weighty your deductable is. If your deduct is $500 and the car only cost $700 to fix, then the ins will only give you $200. Filing a claim will not automatically make your ins go up. If you have a good driving record it should not increase.

Get a quote from an auto fullness shop. Tell them you are NOT going through ins (they will jack it up otherwise) Then depending on the price, you can decide if you demand to file a claim.

Filing A Claim Against A Driver With A Canadian Insurance Policy - Accident In Florida (US).?

I was in an mishap on Monday evening where the other driver ran a red light and t-boned my car totaling it and causing me multiple bodily injuries (and I'm 38 weeks expecting). She was issued a citation for running the red light. I have hired an attorney since I have no comp/smash-up coverage on my policy so I have to pursue her insurance company on my own. After one call with them they were already trying to claim that she was not at fault even though she was issued the citation and I have an watcher who gave a statement to the officers that she did run the red light. She is insured with a company called The Co-Operators out of Canada.

Does anyone have any undergo with this company or trying to seek money from an insurance company in another country? I'm also wondering what are the paragon limits on coverage in Canada? I'm just so worried about not having a vehicle now that my pet is due in one week and I have yet to hear from them about a rental car being provided.

First, from what I have heard, Canadian Insurance
Companies are particular to work with on 3rd party claims (which is what you are trying to do). I live on a border dignified and our claims person says it is always best to go on your own policy because it takes next to forever to get any comeback out of a Canadian Insurance company. Unfortunately, you do not have collision on your vehicle, that makes it tough. Has your attorney helped you at all? Your medical bills should be paid by your own band so you do not have to worry there. Another thing - the minimum limits in Canada are quite high - I have heard anywhere from $200,000 to $1,000,000, so you don't have to torment there either. I think the problem is in Canada (depending on the province) if you contribute in any way to the accident then you don't get paid - the only way you get paid by the other Typhoid Mary is if you are 0% at fault & the other party is 100% at fault - such as in a rearend accident - an intersection luck will never come out like that. Also, in some provinces you can only sue the at fault party if you die or are dismembered (not much else). Of class the statutes in the state the accident happened would apply but the insurance company is going to try to go by their own rules. It sounds like you are universal to have a big fight on your hands.

Homeowners Insurance Claim Over Someone Being Drunk?

A consociate of mine was drunk. I was sober and driving. She had to use the restroom and I had to run a quick errand, so I dropped her off at my dwelling-place to use the bathroom. I came back to my home, afteer being gone for about 15 minutes and she had fallen in my garage and she ruined both of her feet. She did not have permission to go into my garage and she did not trip over anything. Now she is saying that she has a case to sue my homeowners insurance. She sis talk to an attorney but admitted that she did not make out her attorney that she was drinking. Does she have a case? I live in Florida and it is very hard to get homeowners insurance. I say this because my insurance party would surely not renew my contract if i had a claim.

Dismally, she probably does have a case, because insurance companies will settle to avoid a trial. And they to all intents will drop you like you said, especially down there. It's pretty sad that you can't have a friend over polluted or not, it's a friend. Really can't do much of anything anymore; have to worry about lawsuits all the time. People are getting so crummy.

Fine, points on license for Woods over SUV crash

ORLANDO, Fla. — All Tiger Woods has to do is pay a $164 dainty — less than a round of golf at Torrey Pines — and his dealings with Florida authorities over his foul car accident will be over.

What hasn't ended is the public's fascination with his private life, which may get more elaborate. Us Weekly magazine, which hits newsstands Wednesday, features a cover dispatch alleging that a Los Angeles cocktail waitress had a 31-month affair with the era's No. 1 golfer — and that the proof was in 300 text messages.
