How Long To Sue For Disability Insurance In Oklahoma? |
Jul 11, 2006 by Linda C | Posted in Insurance
Have claim against Hartford Disablement Insurance that my husband paid for through his employer. Have been denied twice and the alternative is a lawsuit. Having intractable locating attorney, could use help on that also, but especially need to know if anyone does the deadling to parade?
First and primary, you need the contract terms from Hartford.
The contract controls everything unless it is overreaching or unreasonable. But generally, written contract claims have a five year statute of limitations following the infringement in Oklahoma unless contracted otherwise. Most tort claims are two years in Oklahoma.

Does Anyone Have A Hartford Spectrum Business Insurance Policy Form Ss00021193T? Houston Evacuee Here In Need!? |
Sep 15, 2008 by Ryan B | Posted in Insurance
Houston Evacuee---damned everything---all paperwork---I had a Hartford Spectrum Business Insurance policy and all that I managed to save was the Dec page and a three of other pages---if anyone has this policy and would allow me to review it I am forever grateful. Need to categorize claim but need to review this particular form policy first. Thanks!
Compact the agent or the insurance company for a copy of the policy.
Or you can call the Dept. of Insurance or Insurance Commissioner in your state for helpers. Good Luck!

Hartford Insurance Doesn't Want To Pay For My Repair...? |
Jan 21, 2009 by Drago | Posted in Insurance
Ok I got in a car extra 2 weeks ago, I was hit in the rear by a SUB, the fault was hers, but now I got this letter in Spanish, I will try to translate it into english:
"We had the moment to investigate your claim to determine in which correct way you merits.
Over the base of the information that we have, we find that there exists no culpability at all in part of our insured.
Our obligation as Insurers is to pay only for the reclaims in which our insured is legally responsible(erm, you inferior like in my crash?...)
Unfortunately, the circumstances doesn't permit us to reply in a more favorable method, but if you have but if you have additional information that could modify our position, or a question communicate directly with me <chit the bottom of the liquidation>
MS.Laurie L Todd
(phone number here)"
So I'll give them a call tomorrow, the lady is not working at this in days of yore so I'll have to call her yday, now my question is, why am I going trough all this trouble? I have 3 witness(excluding myself, I was looking behind and saw her ramming us over in motion our car forward, it lasted around 4 seconds) and the client of Hartford even admitted it, if they still don't comply, what should I do?
Also the Hartford insurance already contacted my insurance to instruct them they feel that my insurance should pay some of it.
Also I do not wish to pay a cent for this because it isn't my fault, will this be possible, I hear a lot of stories of how horrid the Hartford company is and I'm scared of never getting the deductible, and they can disagree with mine, but can they disagree with their clients? She fully admitted it,
I am a retired oversee officer. Any time a person drives a vehicle into the rear of another, they are at fault. The citation would be heedless driving. Contact your local city or county attorneys office and get a print of the careless driving ordinance. That may help establish the other drivers liability and hence the insurance companys' liability to cover the claim. You will have to file a claim with your company and they can subbrogate it to the other drivers insurance associates.

Fair Settlement From Insurance Company For Scarring Of Neck? |
Apr 21, 2008 by rosss87 | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I was recently injured at a restaurant resulting in scarring on the front of my neck. I filed a claim, went to the asylum and just spoke with the insurance agent for the restaurant's insurance agent, The Hartford. He is willing to offer me a adjustment and hinted to me that it would be better to take an offer instead of hiring a lawyer as I would be able to keep 100% of the colony instead of sharing whatever I get with a lawyer. I'm wondering what is a fair settlement for something like this, and also will I be crap-shooter off having an attorney represent me?
DISCLAIMER ---- I am an insurance adjuster.
Let me cast some things out for you to think about.
Scar injuries are worth more on woman and children than they are on guys.
Take pictures of the disfigurement every couple of weeks. Hopefully, you took some soon after the injury, they usually have a favourable impact.
The value will be based on the amount of reasonable and necessary medical treatment, the amount of bills and how well or how bad the disfigurement heals.
If not already done, you should have a consult with a plastic surgeon to get their written opinion regarding how they imagine the scar will heal and if they think plastic surgery will be necessary in the future.
As far as the counsel, I'll tell you the same thing I tell injured people on my own files. Let the adjuster for you an offer, then you make a counter offer and see what happens. If after that you don't like the numbers then you can get an attorney.
You do basic to keep in mind that getting an attorney does not increase the value of the claim. Many people cogitate on that adjusters make lowball offers. The problem with that theory is that the general projected knows little or nothing about being an overworked adjuster. Lowball offers don't close files and closed files are the only chaste files. In order to get them closed you need to make fair offers. So give the adjuster a projectile at settling first.
If you haven't already done so make sure to find out how long your state allows you to classify your claim. It's called the Statute of Limitations (SOL) It can vary from 1 year to 6 years.
Good Destiny

If I Take Out Vehicle Insurance Through AARP, Will I Have A Hard Time Being Compensated If I Ever Have A Claim |
Dec 06, 2007 by Runner | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I am tempted to restrict into AARP insurance for my vehicles, it's through a reputable company, Hartford, but I am concerned about if there would be any problem filing a claim and being compensated if the constraint ever arose. Right now, I have insurance through a local company, and I know the agent personally, who I can holler at if call for be to get a claim satisfied, but dealing with a large national company makes me wonder if there would be any fine kettle of fish satisfying a claim. Anybody out there had any experience with satisfying a claim through AARP with Hartford ins. I appreciate any input. Any other input would be cooperative also, thanks.
I have asked the Hartford for quotes a coupe of times... They were always degree a bit higher than my current coverage through State Farm.

Is Anyone Familiar With Careers From Hartford Financial? |
Sep 10, 2007 by Solid Statement | Posted in Marketing & Sales
I received a call from someone with Hartford Fiscal and they requested an interview. I have a resume posted on Monster and I typically get phone calls from folks claiming to have job openings but are at bottom recruiting for multi-level management type businesses. From what I found on their website they seem to be a hilarious level company but it seems a tad odd that they would recruit someone from the retail industry as a sales professional in economics and insurance. I'm excited for an opportunity but wary when the only info I can find is on their website. Any advice would be appreciated!
He didn't ask if I had any certifications or licenses. All he said was "You trade in sales right? I'm looking to expand my team in this area .....(etc)"
By the way, I noticed I said multi-aim management, I meant multi-level marketing.
Went to the interview. They were a joke. They aren't even the principled "The Hartford" who has been around since 1810, they are a 10 year old company "Hartford Economic". They were recruiting Loan Officers as they are a mortgage loan retinue. The guy basically gave me Ben Affleck's "act as if" speech from Boiler Leeway (if anyone has seen that movie) telling me I could be a millionaire while saying that they don't give any leads on loans because that would take capital out of his pocket. They barely asked any questions, just gave a speech on how they essential hard workers not "slugs" who "waste their at all times." I held my tongue, but wanted to tell them where to stick it.
Thanks for the avoid, btw, Joel F.
HF as I recall is a firm that specializes in the sale of stocks and bonds. The job may be for a telemarketer "disheartening calling" clients in order to sell them stocks and bonds. This is a thorny job and pays very little unless you are good at it. Did they ask if you have a Series 7? That would be a good trace. In any event it wouldn't be a bad idea to give them a call to see what the job is. It might be something you are looking for and good luck.

3 Auto Accidents, None My Fault? |
Jul 12, 2008 by BOB PHX | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I have had 3 auto accidents in 7 months, none my misdemeanour. All 3, the other driver got tickets. All 3 had auto insurance. Two of the accidents totalled my car, and I subrogated through my insurance actors, Hartford. Should I be worried that I have a black mark against me in the insurance database? Hartford claim service has been great to employment with, but just am worried if it's coming with a price adjustment. Even though Hartford will go after the other guys's insurance, I'm sure they put a worth tag on the work they are doing on my behalf.
3 accidents...3 separate cars
Legitimate curious, but how did two accidents total your car?
A claim against your car insurance is still a claim.

New jobless benefit claims unchanged at 505K
19.11.09
WASHINGTON — The million of newly laid-off workers seeking unemployment insurance was unchanged last week, uneaten above the level that would indicate the economy is adding jobs. Still, new claims — which are considered a capacity of the pace of layoffs and an indication of companies' willingness to hire new workers — are down about 22 percent from this spring.
