Boiler is finished and emerson heater needs replaceing .
Can I claim off house insurance for drudgery to be done.
I was talking to a middleman once, and asked a similar question,. His reply was concise, and goes as follows ....... It is not up to the Insurance Establishment to make your house better than it had been a week ago, If you had wanted this facility, you should have taken out a support contract with a heating contractor.

Can I Claim Off My House Insurance If My Keys Have Gone Missing? |
Nov 20, 2006 by lonely as a cloud | Posted in Insurance
Im a cabinet tennant, not quite sure if i can get the locks changed for free. I will find out tomorrow, however want to know whether if i have to pay, can i claim off my house insurance. Will i need any crime or incident number from the police to able to agree to a claim?
Losing your keys is not a misdeed or an incident!! I seriously doubt they're going to change locks everyt ime someone loses their keys.
House insurance won't counterbalance, for two reasons - "oops I lost the keys" isn't a covered uncertainty, although on a few high end policies, if your keys are STOLEN (with other things), then it might pay to replace your locks.
The go along with reason is, the policy has a deductible - which is more than the cost to replace the locks.

Jun 14, 2009 by Aero N | Posted in Insurance
Hi
Im evaluation about using my insurance to repair water damaged area at my current house, would this increase my house insurance payment, if i moved to a new house. Or would the insurance be only high if i use the same insurance provider?
A claim will haul up your rates on your current home and the new home. You will lose your claims free minimize for a certain amount of years.
And, you may not even be able to get insurance on another home unless you stay with the same insurance company.
Depending on how much destruction you have you might not want to put in that claim. Talk to your insurance agent for advice.

Would I Be Allowed To Claim On My House Insurance If My LCD TV Has A 1cm Thick Pixel Line From Top To Bottom? |
Jan 13, 2009 by | Posted in Insurance
Basically my LCD tv has a singular pixel mark going from top to bottom of the screen on one side..do u think I would be able to claim on my home contents insurance for this?
Thanks.
No, products with flaws through common use are not covered by home insurance, and your deductable is most likely FAR greater than the cost of a new tv.
You buy warranties for that, not insurance.
