What To Do When You Crash Your Car And At Fault And Have No Insurance?

was in an accessory the other week. comprehensive insurance ran out and i went up the back of another car that then went into another car. my fault completely. never been in the situation before didnt remarkably take too much notice of the damage to their cars and the first car ( not the one i directly hit) has come back and told me their is about $3000 of damages and keeps asking fora insurance claim million. have yet to hear back from the people i directly hit. any info on what to do would be great as i am extremley worried that i cant pay it. i would of mental activity the damage to their cars would of totalled $2000 at the most but and freaking out here.......thanks ( in australia NSW by the way)

Answer: Let out a lawyer and ask he or she what do in your situation.
In Australia If you have third party insurance then if its your fault in the car accident then other persons insurance won't sue you.
Third soir insurance is included when you register your car each year.
If you still have this kind of insurance then you are safe.

Hello All,
some one have tried to follow false claim on my car insurance, i have been driving fine. but couple of days ago, my insurance company called and asking me details of the mischance saying i had met an accident and some one claims compensations for that.

Please advise me where shall i get more help, any web plat forums or other options please, I live in UK

Answer: Erase to your insurance and ask for full details of the ALLEGED INCIDENT. (Use the words in block letters, that way you are not admitting anything).

Once you have the details, explore where your car was at the time of the incident and if it wasn't anywhere near the incident location you can prove your innocence. If you were at the setting you will have to look at all possibilities as to why you are being targeted.

This happened to my wife some time back, she had been at the location but had no erudition of any accident, the police, who were the first contact in respect of the alleged incident, checked my helpmeet's car and satisfied themselves that it had not been involved in the alleged incident. They put it down to someone with the same coloured car putting my wife's reg bunch on a slip of paper in the damaged cars wiper.

The liberally heater at my house is 20 years old, and it has been discovered leaking on the button, and it has been merry suggested to install a new heater by the mechanics and the forum. Our insurance company (First America) provided us with a following to change the water heater. The company was going to charge us with an up-to-date-standards of 745 dollars (saying that they are not included in the insurance), while claiming that they covered the price of the wet heater tank AND the installation. However, after further research, we talked to Home-Depot people, and they accusation the water heater tank, the installation, as well as the up-to-date-code for a total of 749 dollars.

What's prospering on here? Is the insurance cover ANYTHING?

@sandy: yes we called them, if you read my question carefully, the insurance claim that they paid for the establishment and the price of the water heater tank. We are calling them again now and they are telling us the same thing..
Ok, we called the insurance associates and they let us to do the replacement ourselves then send us a check of ~$400 dollars. We only need to contact home-depot ourselves to get the hose heater replaced, in the end we only need to pay ~$350.

Claim Against Auto Dealer For Cheating?

I bought a tolerant of Hyundai i10 from a auto dealer last month. He told that car has complete insurance valid for one more year and showed a twin of proposal and told that all the documents will be handed over along with registration transfer. As they are famous dealers and showed a xerox text I trusted them. After the registration is done I found that insurance expired and it was not renewed. Before I came to know about insurance there was a minor expense and mechanic said it'd cost around Rs.15,000/-. I'm trying to contact the dealer but they are annoying to escape saying the concerned person is not available at store. I'm trying to call the mortal physically he is telling some stories or not picking up the call. I'm planning to file a case on them in consumer forum as they cheated me saying it has insurance extend over due to which I paid more price and also I'd not have used vehicle if I had known there is no insurance cover. Please inform me if I can claim for culminate damages
As already mentioned in the first line, this is an used car from a dealer selling used cars not Hyundai businesswoman.

Answer: I am upset by your question. Was the Hyndai bought from a Hyundai dealer or from a buy/here/pay/here dealer?

In all the years, I have never seen where with the acquiring of an auto, they include insurance with the price/payment, especially if it was from a Hyundai dealership. Now if it was from a buy/here/pay/here merchant IT could be possible since they usually sell to people who may have hard time getting loans and also may not buy insurance and they are protecting their lien.

Trivial damage of $15K, is not minor. What is the damage? Is it mechanical or is it body damage? If for occurrence it is mechanical, ie the engine, transmission etc, it would not be covered by insurance regardless, since insurance only covers body damages.

Is this a Guarantee? Hyundai has/had 10 year warranty's on their cars when bought new and could have a limited covenant bought used.

Do you still have the documents? I am guessing you do not have a copy of the xerox copy he showed you?

You dearth to go in person to the dealer and talk to someone who is over the guy who sold you this car and clarify. If for instance, this is mechanical, could be?? covered under Hyundai's commitment.

Either way, they are ignoring your calls. Go and stand there and refuse to leave till you get answers that designate sense.

Can Employer Retroactively Cancel Health Insurance From A Year Ago? Cobra Was Never Offered.?

Basically, I had Aetna insurance for the last year. Last month, someone at my associates changed something clerically to say that my insurance ended Setember 1, 2008. All my doctors have gotten notices from Aetna to pay back the shekels they were paid in claims since then. The doctors are now coming to me to pay them back. Fraud? Are you kidding me? I was so far out of the hoop, I wasn't even told if I was still an employee or not. I've been waiting to see if I'd get a letter telling me when my insurance would terminate, so I could mark up for Cobra.

Answer: The IRS indeed sets the guidelines, for who qualifies to be covered under an employer's policy.

Their guideline are, you have to be ACTIVELY WORKING a minutest number of hours each month.

Looks to me like you stopped working in August. Therefore, you didn't in actuality QUALIFY to be on the group health insurance.

They CORRECTED your eligiblity, retroactively. They had to - the IRS made them do it. They must have been audited.

Now they have 45 days to put on the market you COBRA coverage, and you have an additional 60 days to accept it, but the kicker is, it has to go back to September, so IF YOU Take it, now you have to pay the premiums for the past year. Which, actually, might be cheaper than paying those doctor bills.

Why Is Bristol West Insurance So Horrible?? Help!?

OK I was in an calamity with a driver that was insured with Bristol West (she ran a red light but wont admit it). I have called them to metamorphose a claim every single day(3-5 per day) for 3 weeks now! I have left dozens of messages & I havent gotten a sole call back from the adjuster or anyone! I call te main # again (many times) & everytime I tell them they say 'hold on' & FW my call to another adjuster that doesnt riposte or return calls either! Look plenty of ppl say the same thing!

Yes I have the police report. I already contacted my insurance. Yes the observe, ambulance & fire trucks all came out. It was a bad accident & the other drivers 5 yr old daugter flew out the car (b/c she wasnt buckled in). We hit in the intersection, so the cocktail at fault is who ran the light (her) but she is denying it. No witnesses saw who ran the light. I only have liabilty so I need to put a claim in w/ her insurance. (& she can put 1 in w/ my insurance)

Answer: Because they can, totally. Bristol West is essentially a third party administrator for an assortment of insurances. Even if you had prang coverage, the two insurance companies would have trouble duking it out because BW chooses not to participate in intercompany arbitration ( an unfettered forum that allows one company to persue the other in lieu of a trial). In other words, when push comes to shove the only method of entr with Bristol West is suit.

I remember your question about liability from several weeks ago. What I strongly put you do is call BW claims and do the following:
1. Track every call you make to BW (times/dates/amount of time you are on hold good, and who you speak to)
2.. Ask to speak to a claims supervisor/manager immediately.
3. Advise whoever you use with you intend to file a complaint with the Dept of Insurance for failure to resolve your claim in a timely mode.
--Even if the claim hasn't been resolved, they should be communicating with you with a phone call or a letter to that effect. The other party was as likely as not injured and their focus is on resolving that end. Your car is a total loss. You should hang on to any and all paperwork resulting including your rental bill.
--If you do fill in a complaint with the DOI, send it registered mail/return receipt. It's important you keep possession of copies.

His health plan only helps the people who don't need the workers currently, leaving out the people who can't get insurance because of a medical condition. It even threatens to remove protections that states make of health plans.

His campaign staff are made of lobbyist, three of which pushed for conditions that has origin the subprime loan crisis.

The leader of his VP search committee is a lobbyist. Evidently McCain can't check the backgrounds of people either.

He has either lied or has too bad of memory on the subject of how he concern the war would go. He preached the "easy" war line, then claimed that he always said it would be covet and hard.

He had an affair for two years, then dumped his crippled wife for the mistress. More recently he called his contemporary wife a few humiliating insults (that I won't write on this forum) in front of reporters.

Answer: Verifiable Americans ... That are voting FOR a True American ... AND ... AGAINST an ANTI-American !!!
