Can An Uneployment Payment Protection Insurance Claim Be Accepted If Employment? |
Question by Matt | Posted in Insurance
Can an uneployment payment protoection insurance claim be accepted if the actually was sacked?
Long story short, My brother worked for a security secure, Manager of that store didnt get on with anyone, he put a complaint in against her and she rang the security firm and told them to recite say him not to come back, this happend about 3 weeks ago, after taking a loan with abbey.
Should that be alright?
Answer: Put him to claim unemployment...Its going to start an investigation and if she did it with no just cause....she will be the one out of a job.
Claim what is due to you. If he worked for the New Zealand for over 3 months...he can claim.
Tell him to fight it don't let this person do this to you she is miss using her position in the guests.
Now if he is working at another company he can get paid for those weeks he wasn't working due to being laid off. The unemployment proprietorship is going to ask why he was let go and just tell the truth.
Claim and see where it takes you...the company is going to try to rail you but don't give up.
Good luck |

How Do You Receive The Final Deferred Payment (Claim) From Your Insurance Co. If You Do The Work Yourself? |
Question by ubetcha1000 | Posted in Insurance
I filed a land claim on my Homeowners insurance policy. I received the initial payment on the claim and will receive the final payment after submitting receipts on how much it fetch to repair the damages. My question is how do I get the final deferred payment if I do the work myself. I would only have the receipts for the palpable and not the labor. I'm also considering using a less expensive material on my house than what was originally on the undertaking. How do I get the full final payment for my house if I can't produce receipts for the labor or if I use a least expensive material on my whore-house. Please advise.
Answer: You will be paid for the less valuable material. Your insurance company will not pay the difference for a more expensive material you could have used. As for the labor, your get the better of bet is talk to contractors in your area & find out what the hourly rate is for whatever you were doing (I assume roofing, but you don't say.) Then take under one's wing an itemized invoice of your hours at the going local rate.
I have to remind you that insurance is to get you back to where you were at the once in a while of the loss. It is not to make a profit off of. |

Auto Insurance Claim Payment? |
Question by tony w | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I recently had my wares totaled by a tree falling on it. Well the insurance wants settle but they want to take back the claim money they sent me back in Walk or April from where a deer had hit the door. The adjuster claims that the door wasn't immovable right and they are taking the money from the claim. I own the truck free and clear, I took that bills and bought the door and paint and did this my self. Can they take back that money from a previous claim? I need to recollect because I am fixing to make some phone calls. Thanks
Answer: If the harm from the deer was not repaired -- or incorrectly repaired -- the insurance company will diminish the cost of that damage from the value of the vehicle.
If you were going to sell the car. The car (with out any damage) is good 1500.00. If you sell the car and it is in good condition - no damage - you would get 1500 for it.
Now, lets look at it the other way -- you hit a deer. It causes 500 usefulness of damage. You decide to pocket the money and not fix the car. You decide to sell it. No person is current to pay the same amount of money for an undamaged car as they would for a damaged one. So, you would show them the estimate to fix the car for 500 and could expect to sell the car for 1500 - 500 to fix the wreck = 1000 to you.
When you total a car -- all you are doing is selling the car - just to the insurance company in preference to of some guy on the street. The insurance company is not a chump. They owe you what the car is worth -- what it could reasonably have been sold for. So, if the previously to damage was not repaired or was incorrectly repaired -- that reduces the value of the car. |

Can A General Contractor In GA Hold Payment To A Subcontractor Based On An Insurance Claim Filed On The Proper |
Question by Koonass | Posted in Insurance
A subcontracted framer caused impairment to the property and the GC is holding payment because nobody's insurance wants to pay.
Answer: What does the contract say?
Right, that framer is going to have to pay the GC for the damage. Any damage to HIS part of the work - aka the framing - is going to be excluded under his GL coverage. Likewise, the GC's profession doesn't cover shoddy work done by the sub.
In other words, there isn't any insurance out there, that will pay the sub for damage they do to their own work. Or tinsel work, that causes damage to someone else's part of it. Most of the time, the GC can - and will - hold out on payment until the damages have been taken direction of. |

Auto Insurance Claim Denial - Premium Payment? |
Question by katiebug554 | Posted in Insurance
My Keep was laid off due to the economy and we took a real hit financially. We were not able to pay our premium only on time and received an intent to cancel notice with a required postmarked season for the payment. I mailed the payment before the postmarked date, but received it in the mail 8 days later with a recur to sender label.
I was in an accident a couple days before the payment was returned and found all of this out when I called to communication the claim and had no idea the payment had not made it to the company. The Insurance Co. asked me to fax them the envelope with the postmarked date and a copy of the slow. I did... They came back 5 days later saying they are not going to cover it because they didn't draw the payment. Is this legal when I have no control over the post office?
I understand, I was at fault for having to send the payment in. But the notice clearly stated a postmarked date in order to prevent a slip away in coverage. I don't know what to do. I will loose everything if my insurance company doesn't back me up. I owe $20,000 on the car and the damages are way more then I can pay. I've always paid them.
There was a stamp, a post mark, and a label saying "undeliverable as addressed"... My only conclusion is, the support office mis-read the address. It was a handwritten envelope. I just can't believe appointment offcie error could ruin someone's life like this...
To add something else, the Insurance company had someone come out to appraise the devastation and the day after, they denied the claim. That seems dis-honest to me.
| Answer: I lawful wanted to let people know that here in the Chicago area I know of several people who have gotten despatch back for no apparent reason. Mail that was going in to a company in that company's pre-addressed envelope and that had punctilious postage on it. I don't mail any of my bills that are date sensitive anymore - they all get paid online. |
