Can I File An Insurance Claim? |
Dec 31, 2006 by M L | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I had a new patio attire installed on my screen room. It has leaked four times already (with every rain). The entourage has been out three times already to attempt to repair it with no avail. It is leaking bad. It floods the floor of my apartment and I have lost some stuff that I had to throw out from getting wet. Also, the compnay split my fascia upon installing and put caulking all over my variety new roof. Since, they can't fix it, I did not know if I should call my insurance company to file a claim because I obviously need a new cover. I just paid $4800 for this one a minuscule under three months ago. I have photos and was planning on sending a certified letter to the company hard they fix it this time or I will contact the BBB and take legal action. I am just worried that this will make them mad and they won't result as a be revealed out to fix it.
If your insurance covers irrigate damage..... then you can file... I think I would go after the company that installed it.. They are the ones at misconduct you know

Can I File An Insurance Claim On My Renters Insurance Policy For A Loss That Happend 2 Years Ago? |
May 06, 2009 by tina | Posted in Insurance
I had a pinching that is covered under my renters insurance policy, but it was almost two years ago and want to know if I can still file that claim?
You're effective to have a really hard time getting that paid.
If you filed a police story at the time, you sure can try to file the claim. If you didn't file the police report, then there was no theft, legally, and the insurance won't pay.

How To File An Insurance Claim? |
Sep 21, 2006 by NOooooooooooooooooooo! | Posted in Insurance & Registration
A guy ran a red silly and struck my car causing $3500 in damages. I got all the required info from him so how do I file a claim with his insurance?
I called my insurance but they said they will not file a claim for me with the other insurance. I have full coverage but with $1,000 deductible so I want his insurance to fix the damages.
You should be adept to look the other driver's insurance company up on the web, call them and give them the collision info and the policy number and driver's name.
Don't let them pull you around -- they will probably try to drag things out in the hopes that you will accept less than what is owed you. Put one's money where one's mouth is to your guns, they are LIABLE and RESPONSIBLE for fixing your car to YOUR satisfaction and covering any and all medical bills and other bills (rental car, etc.) that you have had to pay as a effect.

I do not wish to ruin the vehicle's registered owner's squeaky clean insurance rate, so I am considering paying out of help oneself to for all of the damages, even though the insurance would cover me. I am not from the United States and am not sure how it works here, but would I be able to pay out of keep for the damages (under $5000) instead of file a claim? How would I go about doing this in a legal, spotless fashion?

Can I File An Insurance Claim With A Suspended Liscense? |
Oct 21, 2008 by tomeka.vinston | Posted in Insurance & Registration
i was the driver enmeshed with in an accident due to a road hazard, got a flate dire and damaged my car. my liscense is suspended, I have insurance. Can i file a claim?
If your document was suspended AFTER your accident then the insurance company will cover you in that accident.
If you had a suspended license WHEN you had your misadventure there's a good possibility that the insurance company won't cover you. Most insurance companies require you to have a valid enable to be insured with that company.
Good luck!

Can Mortgage Company File An Insurance Claim On 3 Year Old Foreclosed Home That Was Included In Bankruptcy? |
Feb 14, 2008 by Missee | Posted in Insurance
I filed CH 7 Bankruptcy 3 years ago and the mortgage South African private limited company foreclosed on the property. MY insurance company just called and said the mortgage firm called them and filed a claim on the house for roof damage and if they paid it there is a $2000.00 deductible I will have to pay. Is this favourably? I have not lived in the home for 3 years!
I'm not an boffin in Bankruptcy and foreclosure procedures but this doesn't smell right. If the damage to the roof occurred during the pass that your insurance was in force, why are they only now contacting you? To my knowledge, all HO insurance coverage is based on the date of the occurrence or collapse. That means that whichever insurance company was insuring the home at the time the loss occurred, is dependable to handle and pay the claim. It is hard to believe that a loss over 3 years old would just now be discovered and filed.

If Property Is Behind On Payments, Has Been Vandelized, Can Lender File Insurance Claim And Collect Check? |
Dec 28, 2006 by reel tur | Posted in Insurance
Investment property purchased for rehabbed. During rehab, mortgage was not being paid and insurance lapse. Lender purchased insurance. Assets was vandelized, lender filed claim and recieved check. What happens to the check? How is it applied? What will it be employed for?
The lender has to take under one's wing their investment, which is their loan. The collateral (the building) also needs to be protected. Your loan documents states what your responsibilities are, noticeably as it relates to how the property is maintained and repayment of the loan. When you get the loan, you also agree to care for insurance on the property; the lender has the right (and obligation to their investor) to place insurance on the property should yours slip away.
The check for damages goes to them; if the mortgage has not been paid, and you are in default--well, your lender did what they were suppositious to to protect their investment. In the event the property goes to foreclosure, they're stuck with a vandalized structure that they have to sell to recover their loan and expenses.
The check goes to them; as with any other insurance check, it will go toward making repairs to the chattels that resulted from the vandalizing. But, to be sure, you can contact the insurance agency that has the policy or make a written ask for for information from your lender.

How Long Can You Wait To File An Insurance Claim On Your Home After The Damage Has Occured? |
May 07, 2007 by singlewhitemalekc70 | Posted in Insurance
I am expectations to know how much time one has to file an insurance claim after damage has occured. For instance, your house gets hit by a tornado but your in a coma and dont charge out until a year later. This is not my case. Just trying to make question luminously. Is there a time limit on how long you have to file an insurance claim after damage occurs?
There's no "set in stone" be in power over. Theoretically, you can file a claim five years after the incident. THERE IS NO LEGAL TIME LIMIT. Well, that's on a homeowners management. For liability policies and med malpractice, it's different.
The problem is, the longer you wait, the harder it is to back up the damage was from the claimed incident, and unless you're just coming out of a coma, you fundamental a pretty darned good explanation.
Real life example: I had a shopper put in a claim for missing scheduled silver, a year and a half after they moved - claiming it was missing in traverse from the move. She hadn't done a complete inventory, and when she finally got around to it, discovered the missing silver. The claim was paid ($6,000 rudely).

Can I File A Insurance Claim If My Sister Was Driving? |
Feb 22, 2006 by sk020205/show me some love ya'll | Posted in Insurance
my sister unprejudiced recently recked my car and I had liability coverage but the lady hit my sister. My car is completly totaled, and my sister did'nt have a enable only a permit. My car is paid off but now I am out of a car and have to buy another one can I file a claim with the other ladies insurance to get at least the blue book value of my car so I can buy another one or since my sister was driving do I have no rights and moral ass out of a car.
As the possessor, you can file a property damage claim against the other person's insurance. How much money you get will be based upon the liability and the state laws. Without shrewd the facts of the accident, I will tell you most insurance companies will probably attribute at least some liability to your sister since she was unlicensed and would not be proficient to properly defensively drive.
I will also tell you that the Blue Book value is not what is adapted to by Insurance Companies. The Blue book value is a national average for the vehicle, whereas insurance companies look at the locality (A BMW in Beverly Hills is merit more than a BMW in Montana).
I would suggest getting all the facts of the accident together and calling her insurance company to set up a claim through them.
