I identify they'll try and wriggle out of it, my insurance is fully paid up but 02 will try and drag this out - any tips of what's a sure fire possession to say? Just I dropped it?

Does Anyone Know How Soon After You Purchase Mobile Phone Insurance Can You Make A Claim?

Four years ago, i got a acquire phone from the Car-phone Warehouse, the provider was t-mobile and on the same day I took out an insurance policy. Every year afterwards I got an upgrade, I never cancelled my strategy and the direct debits continued to come out every month from my account. On the 18th November 2006 my upgrade was a sony K800i, last week i dropped my phone and skint the 'inner' screen, i immediately phoned the Carphone Warehouse (whom I have paid a goodly amount of money to over the last few years) to find out if they would fix it, and they informed me that as I had upgraded with t-mobile i was not covered (and hadn't been covered for 3 years). The in money I have therefore paid was for absolutely no reason! I now would like to insurance my phone with a decent insurance company, any suggestions??? How in a wink after i insure can I ask them to fix my phone??? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

I have insurance on my Sidekick LX, Wondering if I "At sea" my cell phone and tried to claim it. Will T-Mobiles insurance company make me organize a police report?

I've heard this from a few people that they had to file a police report even if they "past" it. Cause I know if its "stolen" you'll have to report it to the administer. Is this true?

My Mobile Phone Insurance Claim Failed. Help?

Hi Guys,

I've neutral received the following email from my phone insurance company regarding a claim I made last month : -

Expensive Mr Foster

Thank you for your recent correspondence regarding your current claim
status.

I have now reviewed the details with regard to the claim that you
submitted on 21st September 2008. However I am unable to accept this as an
appeal as you have not addressed all the deny reason of your original
claim.

Your claim was unsuccessful due to the following reasons:

1. Incorrect Bar Dates
2. Annihilation not reported to police

Once you have addressed all the reasons above, and we are in receipt of
the requested information we will carry on processing your appeal.

We will endeavour to process your claim as soon as possible.

I have since spoken to my phone insurance players to find out about the incorrect bar dates. Basically my IMEI numbers did not match when my insurance company called my network provider but this is becuase this is my girl Friday handset and they still have the details from my first phone so this is not a problem. My only problem is the second point. I was on time off (America) when I lost my phone and I lost it overboard on a boat. I didnt call the the heat because I knew the phone would be damaged and irretraceable unless your a deep sea diver??

Can anybody steal me with my appeal? Do I stand a good chance of winning?

Can I Claim? Mobile Phone Insurance?

I got my mobile on pucker at christmas, Of course I didn't take out insurance on it. I decided may be I should and phoned them up 2 weeks ago and got it added on.

Then I was out lastnight at a alliance and had the phone in my pocket, I noticed when I got out of the pub I didn't have it so I've either lost it or its been stolen.

Will I be able to get it replaced on insurance? It looks bad the actually I only had insurance added and then loss it a week or so later, but then I've never been out in a pub etc since I got the phone so never had a chance to loose it.

Any admonition appreciated

I puzzled my phone today while in central london on a day out, I had it during the evening but realised it was gone while on the tube back conversant with. Called the insurer and was told i have to report it to the police to get a crime reference crowd. Would the police simply give me a crime ref number if I call them up, or would it be a long process?
