I Have Insurance On My Phone Through Sprint, How Many Times Can I Claim Insurance A Year?

I have insurnace on my sprint cavity PC. I have claimed insurance on it 3 times in the past year because I have dropped it. The first time was free, and the done two times was 50 dollars. Do the rates increase depending on how many times you claim insurance? Is it viable for me to request them to send me a cheaper phone instead of my pocket PC it breaks to indisputably. Thanks

If I do an insurance claim under sprint wrinkle for the PPC-6700 because its broken, what phone will they give me?

They will give you the 6700 if they have them in review. Otherwise you will get the 6800.

Who Should Be Notified? Please Help! Sprint Insurance?

I spent my phone a few days ago and filed a claim with asurion, sprints phone insurance. After filing the claim I talked to fellow service at sprint to see if i could get a different phone that is cheaper. I have the Sanyo Eclipse which is 299.99 retail, and i wanted the new Sanyo with the full qwerty keyboard which runs for 229.99 retail. She told me that after talking to asurion they couldn't do that because i would get charged for the new phone, because my phone was devastated. A little while ago I found my phone but the screen is completely shattered. What should i do? Do you think i would be able to send this one in and the new one there sending me for the cheaper one? i difficulty answers please

With most of those contracts - your replacement phone does not present itself from the store. It has to be mailed to you.

You don't get a "new" phone - you get a refurbished phone. You either get the same one you had or the replacement for that phone. Regularly they don't let you change phones.

You will have to ask them what they will and will not allow.

Sprint Cell Phone Insurance Unethical Maybe..but Read On?

I'd to get a new phone under insurance...but i'd like to keep my phone for parts. Couldn't I decent buy at defective phone on ebay for a few bucks...have it switched to my esn. then claim the phone insurance. Now this way I get a phone from sprint...and I keep the phone that I had.

I understand this is unethincal...and even illegal maybe. But they raised my deductable to $100 while I am under contract! I have in mind that is unethical as well. So let me know if this is something that is possible. I am sure I won't have the guts to do it anyways...but I am curious.
Hey guys...so quick-witted one. I know this...my ACCOUNT is insured...not the specific serial number. That much I'm pretty dependable is true. So then the question remains...if I move over my phone to the new ESN number...(and magically the phone now doesn't vocation)...I believe I still am insured on that phone..because it's my account that is insured..not the phone.

Wouldn't business the phone you insure will have it's EMEI number registered. Cell phone companies have lots of lawyers who make good up the contracts & insurance, so it is next to impossible to get over on them!!!

I Filed A Claim For My Broken PPC6700. Does Anyone Knw If The Insurance Will Send Me A 6700 Or A Mogul?

My concentration PC 6700 from sprint decided to take up water sports and now is broken. I filed a claim on it this morning and I'm wealthy through the normal paperwork and channels, but I know that some insurances won't send you a phone that's no longer being sold by the porter, come to find out my PPC 6700 is no longer on the shelves with sprint, and it's replaced by the Mogul (PPC 6800). Will they send me another PPC 6700?

It depends on the replacement set someone back of the phone. If the 6700 is no longer available, they must give you a phone of equal value. If the 6800 is more overpriced than a 6700, they might give you something of equal value. Here's a tip though- if the 6800 is much more expensive, ask the insurance company what they are giving you as a $ value on your phone. Ask them if you can pay a picayune out of pocket to upgrade.

How extensive after putting insurance on my plan can I make a claim that my phone is not working properly?
I purchased my phone well over 30 days ago(I had to buy it over the phone because it was an damned limited phone), but they still gave me the full insurance which I saw on the website is only allowed 30 days after puchase - I don't love about that - I just want to know that because my phone is greater than 3 months old that I don't have to wait like 30 days from putting insurance on it to say it is acting up.

You can add ins to your plan within 30 of gain, after which you may initiate a claim at any time.

my fone got dropped and now the shield is cracked. i called insurance and after a weeek they approved my claim. they told me monday night itll be 3 days hoe i get my fone but when i called yesterday it wasnt even shipped! when will i get it? also, i hear sometimes they give refurbished fones. and will they due give me the fone or the whole package? because i need the cd my fone comes with since i lost the old one...

My old m520 flat and i had to call the insurance center for sprint and am getting the Highnote as a replacement for my old M520, but on the insurance claims page it said under accessories to the heart charger and that's it, will i get the usb cable and the headphones that the phone usually comes with?
